What's up, everyone? Jack Jostes here. Welcome to The Landscaper's Guide to Modern Sales & Marketing podcast.
I'm super excited to announce my first in-person live public speaking event since the whole shutdown last year. So I'm really excited to be presenting The Texas Landscaper's Guide to Modern Sales & Marketing at the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association's Nursery Landscape Expo in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, August 6th at 9:50 AM.
Did you hear that thunder while I'm recording this? I hope so. Anyways, I'm really excited because it's going to be a thunderous exciting event. And anyways, if you register online at landscapersguide.com, well, you can pre-register. And I'll send you a free ebook copy of my book, Get FOUND Online, and then some invitations.
I'm going to be doing some other cool things there. I'm going to be doing podcast interviews for the TNLA. And I'm going to different events. I'd love to connect with you there. So sign up at landscapersguide.com/events, if you're in Texas. And if you're not, help me spread the word by forwarding this episode, either just send them a link to it, or if you're seeing this on LinkedIn, just tag them in the comments.
I'm really excited. This is going to be a great event because we're going to be sharing some incredible case studies like how Shades of Green stopped wasting money on Google AdWords. And now, they are getting found by their Hell, Yes customers. And they're doing really cool things like an inventory page. So that way, they don't need to answer the billion calls that come in during the spring, "Do you have any petunias?" Or whatever plant people want, they direct them to an inventory page.
We're going to be sharing how Jeffery Riddle from Alterra Landscape Design went from like the sixth page of Google to the number one page on Google, so thrilled. He's on page one in Dallas, Texas for landscape design. And it's one of the most competitive markets, honestly, in the whole United States. So we're going to be sharing what we did and how he sold over a $200,000 project to somebody who found him there, and how Casey and Tiffany, who run Tex-Scapes Nursery and Landscape, went from struggling to figure out all this digital stuff to just slaying it. And they're now selling appointments. They're literally charging for appointments. We're going to talk about how they do that, how they've automated some of their sales process.
So again, check it out at landscapersguide.com/events. Forward this to somebody, if you know that they're in Texas and they might be going to this show. And I'll look forward to seeing you there, and hopefully at some other events. If you're a part of a state or national association in the green industry, love doing live talks in-person, I also love doing virtual ones, so send me an email, jack@landscapersguide.com. Let's connect. And I look forward to talking with you next week.
