I could outwork other people… outsell them… and wanted to work for myself… so I struck out on my own and started my own business.

Pretty soon I had a small team of employees, vendors, and money problems.

It’s how most of us start out in business.

The problem is, outworking and outselling other only people takes you so far… 

… soon you have employee retention issues…

… recruiting issues…

…cash flow issues..

….100-hour workweeks… missed holidays and family events… chronic pain… debt…. And the “freedom” you thought you had created by starting a business ends up feeling like a weighted suitcase you have to carry around everywhere. 

That’s how it was for me.

I realized:

• I was leading inefficient meetings
• I wasn’t paying my employees - or myself - enough
• I had none of the “business consultant stuff” figured out like Mission, Vision, and Core Values — because I was busy doing “real work”
• My company did not have CEO — but rather an owner operator 

I was an Accidental Employer.

Yep — I had accidentally hired a team of people, and I had no idea how to manage OR more importantly — lead them.

But once I worked on the Big Picture stuff — and became the CEO:

• My cash flow improved 
• My staff and personal income increased 
• My client AND employee retention improved 
• My personal relationships and marriage improved -- or maybe I worked on that first
